Meghalaya COVID update: New cases 18, active cases 1187

SHILLONG: With detection of 18 news COVID-19 cases and recovery of 10 more patients, the total number of active cases in Meghalaya now stands at 1187, according to the latest information bulletin issued by the Director of Health Services (DHS).

 As many as 799 patients have recovered in the state which has reported eight deaths due to COVID19 pandemic.

 East Khasi Hills district alone has 780 active cases (AF 285, others 495), Ri Bhoi district 93 cases, West Garo Hills 224 cases, North Garo Hills 13, South Garo Hills 12.
