Meghalaya COVID update:  73 new cases, 1 more death, 1287 active cases

SHILLONG: With death of one more person due to COVID 19 infection, detection of 73 news cases and recovery of seven more persons have increased the number of active COVID19 cases in Meghalaya to 1287.

Out of the active cases maximum number of 874 cases have been reported from East Khasi Hills (EKH), 187 from West Garo Hills, 68 from Ri Bhoi district, 44 from West Khasi Hills, 71 from East Garo Hills.

So far, 906 persons have recovered from the disease in Meghalaya which has reported nine deaths till date. The ninth death has occurred in East Khasi Hills district
