3 ULFA(I) cadres nabbed in Arunachal

GUWAHATI: As part of the ongoing crackdown by security forces to curb anti-social elements, three  ‘hardcore’ United Liberation Front of Asom (Independent) cadres were apprehended near Noglo in Tirap district of Arunachal Pradesh on Friday, an official statement issued here on Saturday, informed.
Based on specific intelligence regarding the presence of  suspected cadres in the area, the security forces launched the operation and apprehended the three individuals. Their names however have not been revealed.
The troops also recovered three pistols, three magazines with three live rounds of ammunition besides three ULFA badges.
The apprehended cadres along with the recovered items have been handed over to the Laju police station, Tirap for further investigation.
