WJH extends night curfew

JOWAI:  With the COVID-19 cases continuing to spiral in the state, the West Jaintia Hills District Magistrate has decided to extend the night curfew in the district. The curfew will be promulgated between 9 pm to 5 am every day starting August 28.
According to the order, restrictions and relaxations remain the same.
Passes for curfew timings can be obtained from www.megedistrict.gov.in/westjaintiahills.gov.in.
Containment tag lifted
Meanwhile, West Jaintia Hills District Magistrate, in a separate order issued on Friday, has lifted the containment tag from the building of (L) Arwot Lamare, Ladthalaboh Main Road, Khliehumsacham, Land Mark Ladthalabob, Moosalyngkat Road, Jowai.
