GUWAHATI: Senior minister of Assam, BJP leader and the convenor of North East Democratic Alliance (NEDA), Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma today paid rich tributes to former Lok Sabha Speaker and a towering politicians of the country during his days, Late P A Sangma on the latter’s birth anniversary.
“My reverence & tribute to Late Sri PA Sangma. He was a towering leader who left an indelible mark on functioning of the Indian Parliament. On his birth anniversary, I recall with pride his enormous contribution in bringing the North East to the mainstream,” tweeted Dr Sarma.
