Meghalaya COVID update: 77 new cases ; 1186 active cases

SHILLONG: With detection of 77 new COVID19 cases, recovery of 83 more patients and death of one more person due to the virus infection, the total number of active cases in Meghalaya now stands at 1186, according to information provided by the State Health Department.

So far, the state has reported 13 deaths due to COVID19 while 1381 persons have recovered from the disease.

Out of the  active cases, 813 are in East Khasi Hills district, 45 in West Khasi Hills district, 71 in Ri Bhoi district, 118 in West Garo Hills district,   83 in East Garo Hills district,
