Assam reports 2243 new COVID19 cases

GUWAHATI: As many as 2243 COVID19 cases were detected in Assam today out of 31562 tests done in last 24 hours with a positivity rate of 7.10%.

Out of the newly-detected cases 641 are in Kamrup, 170 in Dibrugarh, 140 Jorhat and 106 in Lakhimpur.
Total number of COVID19 cases detected in the state so far is 133066 including 31428 active cases while 101239 patients have recovered so far. The state has reported 396 deaths till date.
