GUWAHATI: Assam Excise Department has condoled the death of two of its efficient personnel because of COVID19 pandemic.
The deceased were identified as Ranjit Baishaya (Inspector of Excise) and Gambhit Baruah (Drafty).
State Excise Minister Parimal Shuklavaidya took to twitter to condole the deaths saying, “Moment of deep grief for Assam Excise Department as we lose two efficient personnel Shri Ranjit Baishya,IE & Shri Gambhir Baruah, Drafty as they succumbed to the deadly #Covid_19. My deepest condolences to their families.”
