‘No PMGKY benefits from September’

SHILLONG: The Regional PF Commissioner, Shillong, KK Srivastava, has informed that starting wage month September this year, no PMGKY benefits will be available for employers receiving the benefits up to August, and they will be required to pay both shares at 12 per cent along with other charges September onwards.
On the other hand, all employers, who are eligible for PMGKY, have been asked to file ECR latest by September 15 even if challan is not submitted, a statement informed.
Srivastava urged the PMGKY eligible establishments in Meghalaya and Mizoram to file the declaration and ECR creation wages month March till August 2020 by September 15 so that the benefits are credited to the Aadhar seeded UAN’s of the eligible employees.
He further asked the employers to update the Aadhar of their employees.
