Assam achieves 30 lakhs COVID tests milestone

GUWAHATI: Assam government has crossed under milestone in the ongoing war against COVID19 pandemic. The state Health Department has completed 30 lakh tests for detection of COVID 19 positive.

“We have completed thirty lacs COVID 19 tests. Our per million tests figure is now 88,109. It is an outstanding performance by 88,109 tests per million by our health care personnel,” tweeted the Health Minister, Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma.

Assam reported 1,63, 491 COVID19 patients till last night out of which 1,32,709 patients have already recovered.
