Awareness programme

Nongpoh: The District Legal Service Authority (DLSA), Ri Bhoi while keeping in mind and maintaining strict Covid-19 protocols conducted a legal awareness programme on ‘Protection of Women against Domestic Violence’, at Lawei Phyrnai, Sohpdok in Ri Bhoi district. Women members of different SGHs from Paitklong, Thad and Sohpdok villages took part in the programme. With rise of violence against women in the society, DLSA took the opportunity to conduct the awareness programme and to provide vital and legal information that can protect women from any violence against them. N I Dkhar, secretary of DLSA, Ri Bhoi was the resource person.
