SHILLONG: The state PWD has directed all executive officers of the department to submit estimates for repairing and restoration of the roads damaged in the state due to incessant rainfall last week.
Deputy Chief Minister in charge of PWD, Prestone Tynsong, on Tuesday, said that instructions have been given to executive engineers of the department to inspect sites where roads have been damaged and submit estimates at the earliest to allow the department to push for necessary sanction.
