Assault
Amla Sarkar of 4th Furlong, Shillong, lodged a complaint that his landlady, viz. Neha Prabha Deb along with her two children, viz. Rakhi Paul and Swapan Deb, threatened him since the month of February. On Sep 23, 2-3 persons claiming themselves to be men of the landlady, went to his shop and threatened to forcefully evict him from his shop and residence. Further, on October 5 evening, the driver of the landlady, who was wearing a sharp ring, hit him on his head.
Saiful Islam lodged a complaint that on October 7 around 2 am, four miscreants in one Maruti car (WB-02R-4019) broke the windshield of his truck which was parked at Jowai Bypass Road, WJH, assaulted the complainant and his helper at pistol/knife point and robbed cash Rs. 4,000, mobile phone and two batteries from them. In this connection, police arrested one Thehbiang Talang (27).
Trebirth A Sangma lodged a complaint that on October 5 around 12.45 am, unidentified miscreants armed with sharp objects and iron rods, entered his shop at Boldoka Bazar under Selsella OP, WGH, assaulted him and looted Rs 25,900 and mobile phone.
Barshila N Sangma lodged a complaint that on October 5 around 9.15 pm, three unidentified miscreants entered her residence, attacked her husband, viz. Niku Saha with a machete and fled the scene. As a result, victim sustained injuries and was shifted to Dalu CHC.

Contraband seized
On October 6 around 8:30 pm, acting on inputs, police intercepted one truck (NL-01AC-9346) at Dwarksuid, Shillong Bypass Road, Ri Bhoi, and recovered two bundles of narcotic substances containing ten packets of Yaba tablets from the cabin of the truck.

Theft
Walsrang N Sangma lodged a complaint that October 5 around 7.30 pm, one Kenchibirth G Marak stole mobile phone from his residence at Lotnagar Baghmara, SGH. On October 6, local residents apprehended the accused, recovered the stolen mobile from his possession and handed him over to police.
James Nongkhlaw lodged a complaint that on the intervening night of October 5 and 6, unknown miscreant(s) stole from his vehicle, which was parked at Lumpyngad, Shillong, a music system worth around Rs 40,000 and his wallet containing Rs 25,000.
Tengkam B Marak lodged a complaint that on the night of September 22, unknown miscreant(s) stole his motorcycle (AS-25-5718) from his residential compound at Anogre village, WGH.

OLX purchase
Purnuksung Lemtur lodged a complaint that on September 22 around 9.38 am, following an advertisement in OLX to purchase one Oppo F15 mobile phone, she deposited Rs 19,309 in the account of one Master Khan.
