Tributes to Tagore

SHILLONG: The admirers of Tagore from Shillong paid tribute to Rabindranath Tagore at Brookside Rilbong here on the concluding ceremony of the Centenary celebration of Tagore’s first sojourn to Brookside Shillong (October 11, 2019 – October 11, 2020), a statement issued here said.
Painter Raphael Warjri translated and recited the Khasi version of “Where the mind is without fear” while English version was recited by Sruti Choudhy.
The programme was organised by Malabika Bisharad and supported by Arts and Culture department. All health protocols were followed by the participants during the observance.
