MAWKYRWAT: The District Mental Health Programme (DMHP) in collaboration with the office of the District Legal Services Authority (DSLA) on Friday organised a programme at Multipurpose Hall, Laitlawsang, to mark World Mental Health Day 2020.
The programme, thematised on ‘Mental Health for All’, was attended by Mawkyrwat MDC, Carnes Sohshang, as the chief guest.
Speaking on the occasion, the MDC requested the Health department to devise a plan on how to conduct awareness programmes at remote villages.
He said the onus is on the government to disseminate awareness on mental health among people from the district.
The DC, on the other hand, urged one and all to be optimistic, especially amid these trying times.
