SHILLONG: BJP member JA Lyngdoh has refuted the allegations that he had opposed the railway connection in every state’s headquarter while also clarifying that he did not dole out any advice on the issue of corruption in the state.
In a statement here, Lyngdoh said that in his letter to BJP state president, Ernest Mawrie, he had supported railway connection till Byrnihat and not Shillong.
Lyngdoh said that he had suggested the BJP leaders to take up the corruption issue with the MDA Government through a proper forum and to give importance to the resolution adopted by the core committee of the party including MLAs AL Hek and Sanbor Shullai.
