No ST funds received since 2017-18: Martle

SHILLONG: The Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council (KHADC) Executive Member in charge of Development, Martle N Mukhim, said that the Council has not received fund for Tribal area from the Ministry of Tribal Affairs under Article 275 since the fiscal year 2017-18.
Replying to a supplementaryquery raised by Independent MDC PN Syiem, he said the Council has been submitting proposals to the Ministry of Tribal Affairs through the state government every year to avail funds under Article 275.
