CM, leaders to campaign for NPP in Manipur

SHILLONG: Chief Minister Conrad Sangma along with senior leaders of the party will visit Manipur on Thursday to campaign for the party ahead of the upcoming Manipur bypoll.
Informing this, NPP General Secretary, Thomas Sangma, said that the team of NPP leaders from Meghalaya will visit Imphal and return on the same day.
The Election Commission of India (ECI) has announced by-election for three more assembly constituencies of Manipur and altogether, bypoll voting will be held in five assembly constituencies of Manipur on November 7.
It may be mentioned that the BJP and Congress have recently launched campaigns for the bypoll, too.
