SHILLONG: West Bengal-based All Bengali Youth & Students Organization (ABYSO) will organise a protest against Meghalaya and the North East on November 5.
Media reports quoting ABYSO president, Chandan Chatterjee, said that the organization will hold a protest at Rash Behari Connector, Kolkata at 2 pm on November 5.
Earlier, the ABYSO was denied permission to visit Ichamati in East Khasi Hills recently.
It may be mentioned that a similar protest was earlier staged outside Meghalaya House in Kolkata against alleged harassment of non-tribals in the state.
