KHLIEHRIAT: The Secretary of District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), East Jaintia Hills, has informed that compensation of Rs two lakh was disbursed on Friday through the DLSA under the Meghalaya Victim’s Compensation Scheme.
He urged the victims and dependants or members of the family, who have suffered atrocity resulting from crimes, are in need of financial assistance and require support services depending on the needs, to avail the benefits under the scheme through the DLSA.
