HC hearings
The Meghalaya High Court has decided to physically hear all matters filed before the Registry. “Further, all such matters – including pending matters – filed up to date which were not listed as urgent matters shall now be listed before the concerned benches, as per roaster, in a phased manner,” a statement on Friday said.

Night curfew
The East Khasi Hills District Magistrate on Saturday extended the night curfew in tye district with till November 14. According to a statement on Saturday, the curfew will be promulgated from 11 pm to 5 am every day. “Curfew passes can be obtained via online application at eastkhasihills.gov.in,” the statement said.
