Heroin seized
On November 26, around 4 pm, acting on a tip-off, police apprehended Ganesh Kr Mahato from G.S. Road, Shillong, and recovered a soap box containing 10.92 grams of suspected heroin from his possession.

Arson
Arnold Sten lodged a complaint that on November 24, around 5 am, miscreant(s) burned down his rice grain kept in his paddy field at Umtngam under Mawlasnai outpost in Ri Bhoi.

Fraud
George Lammi Passah lodged a complaint that on October 21, he ordered a drone through India Mart, an online shopping platform, and deposited Rs 1.28 lakh to the bank account of the seller as payment. However, till date the product has not been delivered to the complainant.

Break-in
Justin Khyriem lodged a complaint that on November 25, around 7.30 pm, Sunil Lama broke into the office of the Institute of Natural Resources, Meghalaya Basin Development Authority, Bishop Cotton Road, and was caught red-handed while he was trying to flee. One GPS device and four keys were recovered from his possession.
