Weeklong activities mark Constitution Day

SHILLONG, Nov 28: The Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan, East Khasi Hills, in association with Metallica-Sargam Sports & Cultural Club, Shillong, organised a series of youth activities between November 23 and 29 to commemorate the Constitution Day.
According to a statement, activities were organised to create awareness and disseminate among people tenets of the Constitution. “The campaign also undertook the challenge for being a responsible and productive citizen. On this occasion, NYKs, Shillong, conducted online oath-taking, reading of preamble, posting of audio/video on social media,” the statement said.
During the campaign, online poster-making, painting and essay-writing competitions, thematised on the Constitution, were also held.
