Assault
Rupankar Saikia of Special Cell, SOT, East Khasi Hills, lodged a complaint that on December 3, around 1.30 am, he saw some boys and one of them blocked the road with his bike (ML-05Q-9233) near Bethany Hospital, Shillong. The complainant was attacked, abused and threatened with dire consequences by two, viz. Rahman Jyrwa and Mathew Railey along with their friends. In the incident, the complainant sustained injuries.

Bikes stolen
Chandon Jana lodged a complaint that on December 2 night, miscreants stole his motorcycle (ML-05P-9381) parked inside the garage at his residence at Rngi-Rum Nongthymmai. On December 3, the stolen motorcycle was found abandoned at TB Road, Jhalupara.
Lauriyam Jadumani Singh lodged a complaint that on November 30, unknown miscreants stole his motorcycle (ML-05K-8413) parked inside CPWD Compound, Motinagar.

Theft
Basudev Gupta of Bomfyle Road, Laitumkhrah, lodged a complaint that on November 26 between 12 noon and 4 pm, miscreants broke into his vehicle (ML-05P-2754) parked near Hotel Majestic, Polo, Shillong and stole, two Sony speakers, one pendrive, one bluetooth device and car body cover.

Interception
Acting on a tip-off on illegal transportation of coal, Police conducted surprise vehicle checking at Jengjal (WGH) recently and intercepted one 12-wheeler truck (AS-01-HC-6821) driven by Ajijul Ali and one Maruti Swift car (AS-18-0544) driven by Md Annowar Hussain with six other occupants, viz. Rahul Hajong, Md Rafikul Islam, Nathaniel Ch Momin, Green R Marak and Nareshwar Rabha.
