Curfew extended
The District Magistrate of East Khasi Hills, in an order on Sunday, extended the night curfew in the district from December 7 till 13 only for timings falling between 11 pm to 5 am each day. All earlier issued pertinent orders will remain in force.
Inaugural event
The inaugural ceremony of the blacktopping and drainage work at the front face area of Gorkha Secondary School, 3rd Mile, Upper Shillong, was held on Sunday, a statement issued here informed. The Executive Committee members of the Gorkha Secondary School Alumni Association have extended their gratitude to all the members of the alumni body for their support, it added.
