Bypass bridge to be ready by Jan 15: Dhar

SHILLONG, Dec 15: Transport Minister Sniawbhalang Dhar today said that repair work on the Dwar Ksuid bridge would be completed by January 15.
Following an inspection of the bridge today, Dhar said, “The dismantling process is still going on reassembly work will take 20-25 days”.
Admitting that the work should be completed fast, Dhar reminded that safety was paramount.
To a query, he said that the bridge has a capacity of 40 tons has a lifespan of 13-14 years or even more.
