SHILLONG, Dec 18: Health Minister, AL Hek, on Thursday distributed gifts among the inmates of AW Thomas Girls’ Orphanage at Jaiaw Lumsyntiew, to mark his son’s 30th birthday.
It may be mentioned that over 40 girls in the orphanage had tested positive for COVID-19 few months ago.
Later, Hek, while speaking to media persons, said it is important to ensure that these girls are mainstreamed, while seeking cooperation from one and all.
