SHILLONG, Jan 3: The Jhalupara Shillong Electric Crematorium will remain closed until further notice due to technical problems in the furnace and pump of the machinery, Greater Shillong Crematorium & Mortuary Society said in a statement issued here on Sunday.
However, it is expected that from January 5 or 6, the crematorium may resume operations, it said.
