SHILLONG/MAWKYRWAT/TURA/KHLIEHRIAT, Jan 18: The modified electoral rolls for various constituencies in East Khasi Hills, South West Khasi Hills, East Jaintia Hills and West Garo Hills have been published with reference to January 1, 2021.
In East Khasi Hills, the District Election Officer has informed that the final list of the last part of electoral rolls for the assembly constituencies of 13-Mawryngkneng (ST), 14-Pynthorumkhrah (GEN), 15-Mawlai (ST),16-East Shillong (ST), 17-North Shillong (ST), 18-West Shillong (GEN), 19-South Shillong (GEN), 20-Mylliem (ST),21-Nongthymmai (ST), 22-Nongkrem (ST), 23-Sohiong (ST), 24-Mawphlang (ST), 25-Mawsynram (ST), 27-Pynursla (ST) and 29-Mawkynrew (ST) has been published and a copy of the roll is available for inspection at the electoral registration offices and record offices/authorities.
In South West Khasi Hills, the District Election Officer has informed that the list of amendments to the electoral rolls for 35- Ranikor (ST) and 36-Mawkyrwat (ST) assembly constituencies has been published with reference to January 1, 2021 and a copy of it is available for inspection in the office of the Electoral Registration Officer, 35-Ranikor (ST) Assembly Constituency, and Electoral Registration Officer, 36-Mawkyrwat (ST) Assembly Constituency.
In West Garo Hills district, the Sub-Divisional Election Officer, Dadenggre Civil Sub-Division, has, meanwhile, informed that the final electoral roll for 44-Raksamgre (ST), 45-Tikrikilla (ST) and 49-Dedenggre (ST) legislative assembly constituencies has been prepared with reference to January 1, 2021. The same has also been made available for inspection.
In East Jaintia Hills, the District Election Officer has informed that the final electoral rolls have with reference to January 1, 2021, have been published for 5-Sutnga Saipung Assembly Constituency and 6- Khliehriat Assembly Constituency.
Furthermore, the Electoral Registration Officer 7-Amlarem (ST) Assembly Constituency has informed that the list of amendments to the draft electoral roll for the 7-Amlarem (ST) Assembly Constituency has been prepared with reference to January 1, 2021. A copy of the aforesaid roll with the list of amendments has been published and will be made available at the Office of the Electoral Registration Officer 7-Amlarem (ST) Assembly Constituency.
