PHE alerts on turbid water supply

SHILLONG, Feb 1: The Executive Engineer of PHE department, Electrical Division, Mawphlang, has warned the public residing in Greater Shillong Area of turbid quality of treated water for a few days starting February 3.
“Water shall be released from GSWS Water Works through the newly laid Gravity Main of 1000mm DI Pipes to its full capacity and there is likelihood that the quality of treated water released may be turbid,” a statement issued here said.
