One ‘stabbed’ to death in WJH

JOWAI, Feb 4: Police in West Jaintia Hills found the body of one Ashutosh Kumar at his house at Lad-Pasyih on Thursday morning. Kumar was allegedly murdered at his residence.
Earlier, the house owner of Kumar had informed the police from Phramer Traffic Cell over suspicion of foul play. The policemen then broke open the deceased’s door and discovered him lying on his bed with stab mark on his chest.
Later, West Jaintia Hills Police informed the Crime Scene Unit, Shillong, to conduct further investigation.
After all formalities were complete, the body was shifted to Jowai Civil Hospital, Ialong, for autopsy.
