RESUBELPARA, Feb 4: A month-long training programme under Micro Enterprise Development Programme on Food Processing, dedicated to members of self-help groups and Joint Liability Groups is under way in North Garo Hills.
The programme, which is organised by the Mendipathar Multipurpose Cooperative Society (MMCS) and sponsored by the NABARD, is being held at MMCS Hall in Mendipathar.
Kick-started on February 2, the programme was inaugurated by North Garo Hills DC, RP Marak, who encouraged the trainees to avail the benefits of various government-sponsored schemes and venture into the world of trade and business.
