Unpaid dues
Lamjingshai Lynrah, proprietor of JJE Tent House, Mawlai, Umthlong, lodged a complaint that in June 2019, two persons, viz. Blaphrang Kharshiing and Larry Warjri approached him and hired items worth Rs 1,22,200 from his tent house for an event ‘Organizing Committee 1st NE Strongman Strongwoman’ at Dalang Stage, Polo Ground. However, the complainant has not received any payment for the same till date.

Body recovered
On February 4 around 11 am, police received information that a body of one Ashutosh Kumar (35) was found with injuries from his rented house at Phramer village, West Jaintia Hills. Necessary formalities were observed and the body was sent to Ialong Civil Hospital for post-mortem.

Cattle seized
Devendra Singh of BOP Umsyiem lodged a complaint that on February 3 around 2.20 pm, BSF personnel detected two heads of cattle near BP No. 1272/2-S, East Khasi Hills.

Theft
Sengma Ch Marak lodged a complaint that on February 2, unknown miscreant(s) stole his motorcycle (ML-08G-0365) from Matchakolgre, Tura, West Garo Hills.
