TURA, Feb 7: A wild leopard cat on Sunday died after it got impaled in a protruding iron rod at a construction site in Tura.
According to a wildlife official, the animal got impaled on the iron rod after it strayed into a construction site at Thakurbari near Nakam Bazar in the heart of Tura town.
“We do not know how it actually happened as there were no eye witnesses. But we think that it somehow slipped from a cliff above and got impaled on the rod,” the official said.
