M’laya student drowns

SHILLONG, Feb 15: In a tragic incident, a 21-year-old student from Meghalaya, pursuing B.Sc. at a private college in Lavasa, Maharashtra, drowned in the backwaters of Varasgaon Dam on Sunday. Another student hailing from Chennai also lost his life in the incident.
Their bodies were retrieved on Monday.
