Nongpoh, Feb 19: The first match of the Zone I of the Inter District Cricket Tournament Under-23 organised by the Meghalaya Cricket Association (MCA) was held at Nongkhrah in Ri Bhoi District on Friday. The match was played between Shillong Cricket Association (B) and East Khasi Hills Cricket Association. Batting first, the SCA (B) managed to score 385 runs in 55 overs while losing 4 wickets in the first innings. Joydep Pandey scored a massive 187 runs off 105 balls. In the 2nd Innings, the EKHCA managed to score only 75 runs in 28.2 overs and lost all 10 wickets. Aryaan Bora was the highest wicket taker for SCA (B) and took 6 wickets.
