Super Division Shillong Cricket League: Rangkynsai win

SHILLONG, Feb 23: Nongmensong CC defeated Young Guns by 10 wickets in a Super Division Shillong Cricket League match here at the NEPA grounds on Tuesday. Nongmensong won the toss and elected to field first. Young Guns scored 218 runs for the loss of 10 wickets in 33.4 overs. Batsmen Neeraj Rana (55 runs off 24 balls) and Kasim Sun (52 runs off 41 balls) were the top scorers for Young Guns. Sagar of Nongmensong claimed 3 wickets in 6.4 overs while giving away 45 runs. He was supported well by Bipin (2/38). In reply, Nongmensong scored 221 without losing any wickets in 22.4 overs. Nongmensong skipper Arpit Bhatewara played one of his trademark innings, scoring 146 runs in 69 balls. His opening partner Indranil scored a sensible 50 runs off 67 balls. Arpit was adjudged the Man of the Match for his unbeaten century.
