Ri Bhoi lad gets honorary degree for contributions

NONGPOH, Feb 24: Evarist Myrsing of Nongrim Nongladaw under Umroi in Ri Bhoi was awarded the Honorary Doctorate Degree by the World Human Rights Protection Commission for his efforts in empowering education in rural areas of West Jaintia Hills, during the two-day international workshop on Human Rights and COVID-19 India Resilience & Awards Ceremony held in New Delhi recently.
The award was conferred by Vice President Venkaiah Naidu.
