NONGSTOIN, Feb 25: West Khasi Hills police on Thursday detained president of Hynñiewtrep Achik National Movement (HANM), WKH, Arphul Kharbani, for allegedly assaulting the manager of Shree Shakambari Ferro Alloys Private Limited, Riwiang.
According to police, Kharbani had also damaged the personal belongings of the manager.
A case has been registered against the accused and further investigation is under way.
