Govt policy to hone youths in the pipeline

TURA, Feb 27: Chief Minister Conrad Sangma has said that the state government soon will introduce a policy that will hone youths with ‘one skill and one talent’. The chief minister made this announcement while speaking during the inauguration of the new block of the Industrial Training Centre (ITI), Tura. Conrad, while addressing the gathering after inaugurating the new block, accentuated the importance of the ITIs. “Technical and vocational skills training is an important aspect in skilling and empowering young people for the world of work,” the CM said.
