ARC Services Wushu team excels at National Wushu Championship

SHILLONG, March 3: The Assam Regimental Centre Shillong Services Wushu Team added yet another feather to their cap after winning the 29th Senior National Wushu Championship held at Chandigarh University in Mohali, Punjab on Tuesday.
The championship, held from February 25 to March 2 was Services’ fourth win in a row.
The team, comprising of 11 Sanshou players and 17 Taolu players, bagged 20 Gold, 5 Silver and 5 Bronze medals throughout the competition, making this the most successful victory by any team at the Wushu nationals.
The team stood overall first in both the Sanshou and Taolu events before being adjudged “Overall Champions.”
