Bar association elects office-bearers
JOWAI, March 6: The Jaintia Hills District Bar Association, in a meeting held at Khad-ar Dolloi Law College here on Thursday, elected its office-bearers for a term of three years with effect from March, 2021. The office-bearers include Riwan B Hinge as president, SL Phyllei as vice president, John Paul Sariang as general secretary, Pariliza Tariang as assistant secretary, Runa Kya as treasurer and senior advocate CS Kyndiah as adviser.
Free eye pressure check-up at CHs
SHILLONG, March 6: The National Programme for Control of Blindness and Visual Impairment, National Health Mission, Meghalaya, will hold a free eye pressure check-up at civil hospitals in Shillong, Nongstoin, Tura, Ampati and Baghmara from March 7 till 13 between 10 am and 1 pm.
