Load-shedding ends in state

SHILLONG, March 10: The National Thermal Power Corporation Limited (NTPC) has withdrawn the load-shedding regulation bringing relief to over 34 lakh citizens of Meghalaya.
Announcing the withdrawal of power regulation, Power Minister James Sangma today tweeted: “After my official visit to New Delhi on March 3rd 2021 to meet with Union Power Minister, I am delighted to inform that the National Thermal Power Corporation Limited (NTPC), has withdrawn the load shedding regulation. The power situation in the state is normal now.”
The Power minister also thanked Union Power Minister Raj Kumar Singh and Chief Minister Conrad Sangma for having addressed the matter at the earliest.
