Hindi workshop
A Hindi workshop was on Thursday organised at the office of the Accountant General (Audit), Meghalaya. According to a statement, the workshop was inaugurated by Subbaiah, Deputy Accountant General (Administration) in the presence of PR Ryngkhlem, Establishment Officer and L Simte, Hindi Officer. During the programme, the participants were enlightened about the use of Hindi language in noting and drafting, etc. in the official works.

Revised charges
The Meghalaya Newspaper Hawker and Vendor Association has decided to charge Rs 20 for the home delivery of newspaper per month and Rs 5 per week. The executive committee of the Association, which met recently, had taken the decision to re-implement the home delivery charge from March.
