Police perform flash mob dance in Tura

SHILLONG, March 14: Realising the need to encourage better and friendlier police-public relations, police personnel of various ranks of 2nd MLP Battalion including basic trainees of the Unit’s APTC, conducted a flash mob dance at the Supermarket building in Tura on recently.
Their performance resulted in good and positive response coupled with appreciation from the public as well as onlookers in the building.
The dance was followed by a brief talk by the medical officers & nursing staff of the unit hospital on the need to continue adhering to safety protocols against COVID-19.
They also exhorted people to get vaccinated when the times come and not to be influenced by hearsay regarding the alleged harmful effects of the vaccine.
