SHILLONG, March 25: People’s Democratic Front (PDF) acting president, Banteidor Lyngdoh on Thursday cleared the air on speculations about a possible seat-sharing agreement among the four party legislators.
Revealing that the party MLAs had met on March 23, Lyngdoh said, “We had discussed the matter and we all agreed that there will be sharing of the cabinet berths. The PDF representatives in the NPP-led MDA Cabinet will remain the same,” said Lyngdoh who holds the Sports and Youth Affairs and Agriculture portfolios, among others.
Lyngdoh also denied that a section of PDF leaders had written a letter asking him to step down as acting president of the party.
