Health Day
The Adventist Development & Relief Agency (ADRA) India, a non-profit organisation, celebrated its first event of Durex ‘The Birds and The Bees Talk’ on Wednesday to observe the World Health Day. According to a statement, the programme was thematised on ‘Building a fairer and healthier world’ and was organised at He-Month Zenith Secondary School, Mylliem, and AWT Girls Home, Jaiaw Lumsyntiew. “The programme was conducted with an aim to enhance positive and healthy behaviour among adolescents, engaging students to understand their growing years, life skills, sexual health and well-being, dangers of substance abuse, menstrual health and hygiene,” it said.

Mandal formed
The Bharatiya Janata Party Meghalaya Pradesh has formed the Mandal of 18-West Shillong Constituency in the presence of state party president Ernest Mawrie, along with other senior members of the party. According to a statement on Saturday, Moses Bareh has been elected as president of the Mandal.
