Theft
Shemsuk Mary Pyngrope lodged a complaint that on April 13 at about 1.30 pm, unknown miscreant stole her purse containing five ATM cards and cash, at Kyndai Lad.
Banisha Rumnong lodged a complaint that on April 13 one Dionisius Marbañiang (36) stole a gold locket belonging to his mother-in-law (L) Sibian Rumnong and a gold ring belonging to (L) Wanphisha Rumnong, from her residence at Lumumpih, Umsning. Further, it was found that the accused had also fraudulently transferred Rs 1,08,000 from the bank account of (L) Sibian Rumnong to his bank account.

Cattle seized
Post Commander, D-Coy, 30 Bn., BSF, Pyrdiwah BOP lodged a complaint that on April 11 at about 12.30 pm, BSF personnel recovered one head of cattle from near Pyrdiwah BOP, East Khasi Hills.

Rifle missing
Col. Pratibha Rai, Assam Regimental Centre, Happy Valley, lodged a complaint that on April 7, her Air Rifle (Ser No. 16827041 Cal. 177, Make Feinwerkbau 800),which was kept at Precision Shooting Range, ARC, since December 13, 2019, was found missing.
