DC revises curbs in SWKH

MAWKYRWAT, April 14: In view of the spike in number of COVID-19 cases in the state, South West Khasi Hills Deputy Commissioner Caramai Kharkongor has revised the restrictions on permitted activities within the district.
Maximum number of persons allowed in places of worship as well as during any religious, social and private gathering, has been decreased to 50 per cent of the total seating capacity.
“For outdoor sports, spectators up to 50 per cent of the seating capacity are permitted. Shops, restaurants and bars in the district shall be closed by 9 pm,” the DC said.
