Police recover body in Ri Bhoi

NONGPOH, April 16: Ri Bhoi Police on Friday recovered a decomposed body of a man at Pahammawlein 20th Mile, Ri Bhoi.
According to a statement, the body, suspected to be that of a local’s, was later shifted to Nongpoh Civil Hospital for autopsy.
“Information has also been forwarded to the headmen of adjoining villages to identify the death body as well as to find out if there is any missing person from their respective localities,” the statement said.
